- Your site was built by us (any tier) — Hosting is included free for 3 months
- Your existing site is on WordPress and you've outgrown 'set and forget' hosting
- You want plugin licences bundled instead of charged separately
- You want someone watching for AI-engine schema changes so you don't have to
- You're on a static site you edit yourself with no plans for citation work
- You have an in-house developer who handles all of the above already
- You only want emergency / break-fix support, not monthly cadence
Hosting questions most operators ask.
What's the 'three months free' offer?
Any new website build (Solo, Operator, or Bespoke tier) gets three months of Hosting and Maintenance included at no charge. After three months, billing starts at £85/mo. No commitment beyond month three — cancel any time with 30 days notice.
Do you only host sites you've built?
Most of our hosting clients are sites we've built or rebuilt. We'll take on a site we didn't build if the technical foundation is solid (clean WordPress install, no abandoned plugins, no custom code we can't read) and you commit to a Sprint or Programme to bring it up to current AI-citation standards. We won't host a broken site indefinitely.
What if AI engines change how they extract citations?
That's the core reason this service exists. ChatGPT, Claude, Perplexity, and Google AI Overviews all change their extraction logic regularly — schema fields they prefer, body-content patterns, freshness signals, llms.txt support. We track changes monthly and re-engineer citation surfaces in response. No anniversary surprise where your citation share drops because the engines moved on.
Are plugin licences really included?
For WordPress sites: yes. Elementor Pro, Yoast Premium / RankMath Pro, WPML for multilingual, Akismet, an LMS plugin if relevant. We hold a developer-tier licence and use it across our managed sites. For Astro sites: there are no plugin licences — Astro is open-source. Hosting is the cost.
What does 'support' mean — am I limited to a number of tickets?
No ticket cap. We don't track support requests as a billable unit because we're trying to keep your site cited, not police a SLA. Reasonable use applies — if you're asking for new features or major content overhauls, that's not Hosting, that's a separate scope.
Payment terms?
Monthly in advance via Stripe direct debit. 30 days notice to end. No long-term contract.
